Prof. Rosy Setiawati, MD, PhD is a professor and certified specialist in musculoskeletal radiology medicine. She serves as Head of Radiology Department at three institutions, namely the Faculty of Medicine (Universitas Airlangga), Dr. Soetomo General Hospital, and Surabaya Orthopedic and Traumatology Hospital. She is a consultant of the Indonesian Musculoskeletal Radiology Society (IMRS) and a Certified Clinical Densitometrist (CCD) accredited by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
She has over 10 years of musculoskeletal radiology experience with active multidisciplinary involvement in bone and soft tissue tumor, sports injury, osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases.
She has multiple publications in international journals, with special interests in sport injury imaging, gender-related differences in sports injuries, tumor imaging, advanced MRI/ ultrasound techniques, novel imaging techniques for MSK tumors and tissue engineering evaluation.
