Stefanie Wai Ying Yip is an Associate Consultant at the Department of Imaging & Interventional Radiology, Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong, and an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her major subspecialty is musculoskeletal radiology, and she has also completed subspecialty training in neuroradiology and interventional radiology. After graduating from the University of Hong Kong medical faculty with distinction and as the youngest graduate in her class, Dr. Yip completed her residency in the Prince of Wales Hospital where she continues to work today.

In addition to clinical, on-call and teaching duties, Dr. Yip actively pursues research and has served on the editorial board of the Hong Kong Journal of Radiology as well as an invited examiner for the “ReviseRadiology” FRCR 2B preparatory course. She is a regular contributor to locoregional and international radiology conferences, having delivered presentations that were awarded the Asian Musculoskeletal Society (AMS) Best Paper Award twice, the Hong Kong College of Radiology (HKCR) Best Oral Presentation Award twice, the Young Presenter’s Award in Radiology, and most recently the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Emerging Research Gold Medal 2023.
