Dr Ankur J. Shah is a senior Consultant Radiologist working at GIC Group of Imaging Centres since June 2005. He has been heading the CT and MRI department at Sadbhav Imaging Centre since 2014.
His primary focus is on Musculoskeletal Imaging with special interests in Sports Imaging and Cartilage Imaging.
He is currently Vice President of The Musculoskeletal Society (MSS) of India and Joint Editor of The Indian Journal of Musculoskeletal Radiology (IJMSR). He was also Joint Editor for The Indian Journal of Radiology and Imaging (IJRI) from 2019 to 2024, Indographics from 2021 to 2024, and Case Reports in Clinical Radiology (CRCR) from 2022 to 2024.
He is Subspecialty Fellowship Coordinator of The Indian College of Radiology and Imaging (ICRI).
Dr Shah has received multiple awards and orations of IRIA, ICRI and MSS, including the prestigious "Prof. Kakarla Subbarao Memorial Oration" of IRIA in 2025.
